Why “Surface Heat” is a Problem
Here’s the thing about standard lamps: they usually just bake the outer skin. The core stays cold. When that happens, you end up with uneven walls and bottles that just fail. It’s frustrating. We fixed this by messing with the quartz composition and tuning the wavelengths. Instead of just hitting the surface, the energy sinks deeper into the PET polymer. It reaches the center faster.The result? A consistent blow every single time.
Built for the Chaos of High-Speed Lines
We made these tubes as drop-in replacements for Husky specs, so you don’t have to overthink the installation. Since HyPET machines move fast, our lamps use high-wattage density to keep up. We also beefed up the electrodes. Why? Because constant power cycling in a high-speed environment usually burns out standard lamps. Ours are built to take the hit. The glass is treated for thermal shock, too. You can start and stop the line without worrying about the tubes cracking. But a quick heads-up: when you push this much wattage into a small space, your oven’s ventilation has to work harder. Check your airflow. If it’s not up to scratch, you might end up overheating your machine frame.
Keeping Things Running
Wiring these up is simple. We use standard connectors to keep things easy and focused on one goal: minimizing electrical resistance. No one wants to deal with arcing. One last tip: keep them clean. Because these lamps run hot to get that deep penetration, dust is your enemy. When grime builds up on the quartz, it reflects the IR energy back into the lamp. That kills your efficiency and shorts the life of the bulb. A little cleaning goes a long way.
